January 2012 Takeover

Guerilla GayFare Halifax kicked off 2012 with a bang. The committee approached superstar designer, Matt Mackay, to design a provocative poster that encouraged the gays to “Occupy Straight Bars” and plastered them all over Halifax. Word of mouth spread like wildfire, and the January takeover at La Trinidade was incredible. A crowd of nearly 100 showed up in red and danced the night away to the awesome beats of the Famous Players Halifax DJs.
